Maria’s Deli is a mother-daughter team with a love for good, wholesome food and sauces. Our Italian heritage has seen many recipes passed down through the generations, and we are passionate about sharing the flavours and tastes with our family, friends and customers.
Our Story
Maria has been making her Maza Chilli Relish for more than 2 decades. What started out as a few bottles for home, family members and friends, has grown into a generous following of loyal customers.
In February 2020, the mom and daughter duo decided to take Maria’s Maza to market and are proud to have their product in some of the Western Cape’s most loved Deli’s, Butcheries and Food Markets.
In September 2020 they launched their delicious Maria’s Maza Chilli Oil. Infused with some of the original Chilli Relish ingredients, it boasts notes of ginger and garlic and is a wonderful addition to any meal.
Their cherished relationships with customers and clients, learning on a daily basis and their passion for their trade and the industry continues to drive them from strength to strength.
